3. Copyright Policy

Upon acceptance of a manuscript, all authors are required to sign a Copyright Transfer Agreement. According to this agreement, authors transfer the copyright of the article (including but not limited to the rights of reproduction, distribution, communication to the public, broadcasting, performance, translation, compilation, adaptation, etc.) worldwide to the Editorial Office of the Journal of the American National Academy of Natural and Applied Sciences without compensation.

After publication, the copyright belongs to the Editorial Office. The Editorial Office has the right to publish and use the article in various forms, including but not limited to:

• Electronic publishing, multimedia publishing, and online publishing

• Licensing the rights to third parties, allowing domestic and international literature retrieval systems and database systems to retrieve and collect article data

If the article is ultimately not accepted by this journal, the copyright transfer agreement signed by the author automatically becomes invalid, and the article copyright remains with the author.

4. Author Rights

After publication in this journal, authors retain the following rights:

1. To use their article in accordance with this journal's CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license

2. To deposit the article in personal or institutional repositories, websites, and other platforms

5. To include the article in non-journal collections (with proper attribution)

5. Publication Fees

To support open access publishing and ensure the sustainable development of the journal, this journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC). The specific fee is USD 150 per accepted article, to be paid by the author, their institution, or funding project.

For authors facing genuine financial difficulties, they may contact the Editorial Office to apply for fee waivers or deferred payment. Waiver applications require supporting documentation and will be reviewed by the Editorial Office based on individual circumstances.

6. Archiving Policy

This journal implements digital permanent archiving for all published articles:

• Full-text permanent access on the journal's official website

• Data backup at the Editorial Office to ensure data security

• Simultaneous archiving in mainstream academic databases such as CNKI, Wanfang Data, and VIP

• In the event of journal discontinuation, readers can still access back issues from the aforementioned platforms

7. Data Sharing Policy (Optional)

This journal encourages authors to share research data when appropriate. Data sharing facilitates the replication of scientific experiments and the reuse of research data. Shareable data may include raw data, observational records, experimental results, etc. The journal also encourages authors to share research-related software, code, models, algorithms, protocols, methods, and other materials. Authors may upload such materials to publicly accessible third-party storage platforms (such as Figshare, Zenodo, etc.) and include the links as supplementary materials at the end of the article.

8. Article Self-Archiving Policy

This journal permits authors to deposit all versions of their articles (preprint, accepted manuscript, published version) in institutional repositories or other knowledge repositories of their choice. When depositing, the article metadata must include standard journal publication information (journal name, volume, issue, page numbers, DOI, etc.), which should be cited as the recommended citation format.

9. Post-Publication Discussion and Corrections

After publication, this journal welcomes academic discussions on article content from authors, readers, and academic peers. Relevant comments can be sent to the Editorial Office email, and the Editorial Office will process them promptly and provide feedback as appropriate. If content requiring correction is identified in an article, authors may contact the Editorial Office to initiate the correction process.
